Job summary

Wolviston Management Services Ltd in Redcar is seeking an experienced General Cleaner to join our facilities team. This temporary position runs until December, offering 30 hours per week across five days.

You will maintain high standards of cleanliness across office, welfare and communal areas, with some flexibility to meet operational needs. A reliable, punctual individual with transport is essential.

We are recruiting for an experienced General Cleaner to join our client’s team based in Redcar. This is a temporary position running until December, offering 30 hours per week across five days. The standard working pattern is Monday to Friday, although some flexibility may be required to meet operational needs. Working as part of a small facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across office, welfare and communal areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining office areas to a consistently high standard
• Cleaning welfare facilities including toilets, washrooms and shower areas
• Ensuring communal spaces such as kitchens and break areas remain clean and presentable
• Safe handling and use of cleaning products and equipment in line with site procedures
• Waste collection and disposal
• Replenishing consumables and reporting any maintenance or supply issues

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is essential, ideally within a commercial, industrial or site-based environment
• Good understanding of cleaning products and safe working practices
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team
