Job summary

St Monica's RC High School, Prestwich is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join the Facilities team and maintain high standards of cleanliness across the school, including toilets, floors and classrooms, with duties including mopping, vacuuming and basic cleaning of internal glazing.

The position is permanent, part-time (10 hours per week) with term-time plus 15 days, start ASAP. The role reports to the Facilities Manager and offers an opportunity to contribute to a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in a school environment desirable.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• To maintain cleanliness around the school including toilets, mopping, cleaning of internal glazing and vacuuming.
• Use of cleaning equipment including scrubbers, driers and buffing machines.

The position will involve being responsible for developing and maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness around the school and duties will include toilet cleaning, mopping, cleaning of internal glazing, vacuuming, use of equipment including scrubbers, driers and buffing machines.
