Job summary

Compass Group UK is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams servicing universities. This role covers 19 hours per week with evening shifts from Monday to Friday. You will help maintain hygienic environments, assist with restocking supplies and support a hands-on, flexible team culture across multiple venues.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work evenings and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Work with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensure surfaces, floors and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required, including mopping spillages.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste; monitor and restock cleaning supplies.
• Maintain excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Enjoy a hands-on role and flexible approach to working.

We're currently recruiting a part time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Universities, contracted to 19 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. If you're a committed Cleaner looking for a role you'll shine in, we've got the position for you. Here’s an idea of what your shift pattern will be:

• Mon: Evenings
• Tues: Evenings
• Weds: Evenings
• Thurs: Evenings
• Fri: Evenings

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.
• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working.
