Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is looking for a Cleaner to help maintain impeccable standards across a busy venue. You will report to the Cleaning Manager and supervise day-to-day cleaning to ensure areas are spotless and guest-ready.

The role covers cleaning floors and communal spaces, vacuuming, tidying work areas, and assisting guests in public spaces when required. You will also complete Health & Safety records and attend training as needed.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK is required.
• A background in cleaning would be advantageous.

• Vacuuming carpeted areas, sweeping, mopping and emptying bins as needed.
• May interact with customers in public spaces to answer cleaning-related queries.

About The Role:

Are you passionate about maintaining cleanliness and ensuring impeccable standards in a busy venue? As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in our cleaning team to uphold exceptional standards throughout the venue. Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, you will oversee the day‑to‑day cleaning operations, ensuring that all areas are spotless and ready to welcome guests and event organisers.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for keeping all areas relating to the event clean and litter‑free at all times


• Tidying up work areas, cleaning floors and communal areas.


• Your role will involve hands on physical tasks that can require standing for periods of time, for example, Vacuuming carpeted areas if there are any onsite scheduled for cleaning, sweeping, mopping (if required), emptying bins and other tasks such as potentially washroom cleaning.


• If the site cleaning is during the day or night in open, public spaces, you may come into regular contact with customers so you must be able to assist them if needed, for example, with taking queries linked to cleaning or any incidents/ issues reported.


• You must complete all relevant Health & Safety records and attend training courses when needed.
