Job description

Salary: £23,656 - £24,404 (full time full year equivalent)

Hours: 10 per week (2 hours per day), Term time only + 5 days

Based: Buckstones Community Primary School, Delamere Avenue, Shaw Oldham, OL2 8HN

Post Start Date: Monday 2nd June 2025

Closing Date: Friday 9th May 2025 at 12 noon.

Shortlisting: Friday 9th May 2025

Interview Date: Thursday 15th October 2025

Our Cleaner will:
  • Be committed to the welfare and safety of staff, children, parents and visitors at all times
  • Be responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness of designated areas in the building, including toilets and associated facilities, against an agreed cleaning specification with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to tight timescales is essential and a flexible approach
  • Be able to work independently using initiative and as part of a team
  • Able to communicate clearly with and relate positively to all members of staff
  • Ability to recognize the importance of ensuring a secure and safe environment
