Job summary

Salutem Care & Education is recruiting a dedicated Cleaner for Greenfields Close, a 28-bed residential care home in Newark, Nottinghamshire. You will maintain a clean, hygienic environment for adults with diverse care needs.

The role requires prior cleaning experience (preferably in care), knowledge of infection control, the ability to work independently, good communication, and physical stamina to handle cleaning tasks. COSHH awareness is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize communal areas, individuals rooms, bathrooms, and staff facilities.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors and carpets regularly.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely, following infection control procedures.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces as needed.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment faults.
• Follow COSHH regulations when handling cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain high hygiene standards to prevent infection spread.

Greenfields Close is a spacious 28-bed residential care home in Newark, Nottingham, providing support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues, physical disabilities, and complex care needs. We provide a high level of support to enable all the people we support to meet their personal goals and future aspirations!
