Job summary

Thorn Baker FM is recruiting a cleaner for our client’s Hull site (HU14). You will join a small team with supplied equipment, training, and ongoing support, with an immediate start and potential for long-term work.

Shifts are 4 days on, 4 days off from 7am to 7pm, plus 4 on 4 off nights 19:00–07:00. Day rate £13ph, nights £13.50ph; weekly pay. DBS check is required before starting.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Hard-working and able to work independently or in a team.
• Experience in cleaning/external facilities preferred.
• Own PPE (safety boots) is required.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and emptying bins.
• Clean toilets, urinals and hand basins.
• Suction cleaning carpeted areas and spot cleaning carpets; operate scrubbing/polishing machines.
• Replenish consumables (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels).
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse offices and communal areas.

Job role & Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, vacuum, mopping and empty waste bins.
• Clean toilets, urinals and hand basins.
• Suction cleaning carpeted areas and "spot" cleaning carpets where applicable. Using electrically powered scrubbing and polishing machines to burnish, scrub, polish and spray clean floors.
• Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels,etc.).
• Maintaining cleanliness of warehouse office and communal areas
