Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a reliable Cleaner for Morley Leisure Centre. The role supports a clean, safe environment for customers and staff, with full training provided. Shifts include Saturday 12:00-18:00 and Sunday 14:30-20:30, at Morley Leisure Centre, Leeds LS27 9JP. This is a permanent part-time position with 12 hours per week.

You will perform routine cleaning of changing rooms, showers, toilets and public areas, ensuring high standards and compliance with health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Clean changing rooms, showers, toilets and public areas to a high standard.
• Carry out daily cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, dusting and waste removal.
• Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels and toilet rolls.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow cleaning schedules, site procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Work as part of the cleaning team to deliver excellent standards and customer service.
