Night cleaner - A B Produce, Repton Rd, Measham DE12 7DT

At Job&Talent, we are hiring a Night Cleaner to work at A B Produce, who is a supplier of a bespoke range of potatoes and prepared vegetables for the wholesale, retail, processing, catering and food service supply chain,distributed nationwide.

Job Details

Shift Pattern:

• Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am

Pay Rate:

• Days: £13.50 per hour
• Overtime: £16.88 per hour (paid after 40 hours) and £20.25 (paid after 48 hours)

Location: Measham, DE12 7DT
Duration: Ongoing / Temp to perm

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in written and spoken English
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as training will be given
• Strong understanding of Hygiene Standard Operating Procedures
• The ability to stand for long periods of time and work well under timely pressure
• Must be COSHH trained

Responsibilities

• Clean processing equipment and production lines, including dismantling machinery for deep cleans
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, drains, waste disposal areas and the wider factory environment
• Collaborate with production teams to coordinate safe, efficient cleaning schedules
• Store, use and dilute cleaning chemicals according to COSHH procedures
• Complete hygiene paperwork
• Post cleaning checks by visual inspection or sample testing
• Identify and report any hygiene, safety or environmental concerns to the manager
• Respond to emergency cleanliness or safety issues by prompt action
