Job summary

Kindred is seeking hardworking and reliable cleaners for an educational building in Mansfield. The role is based at Park Hall Rd, Mansfield Woodhouse, NG19 8QA, with early morning shifts Monday to Friday, 06:00-08:00 and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

A DBS check is required, and you will work independently or with a small team to maintain high cleanliness standards. Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, sanitising surfaces, restocking supplies, and adhering to COSHH and health and safety

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• General Cleaning Tasks: dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors; clean and sanitise surfaces and touchpoints; empty bins; replenish supplies.
• Specialist & Deep Cleaning: periodic deep-cleaning tasks and using appropriate cleaning materials for different surfaces.
• Health, Safety & Compliance: use cleaning equipment safely; follow COSHH and health & safety rules; report issues promptly.
• Teamwork & Independence: work independently with minimal supervision; support colleagues to maintain high standards.

Kindred are looking for hardworking and reliable cleaners to be based in an educational building located in: Mansfield.

• Pay: £12.71 per hour.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 06:00-08:00

• Location: Park Hall Rd, Mansfield Woodhouse, Mansfield NG19 8QA

• Requirements: Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

About the role

Responsibilities:

General Cleaning Tasks:

• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.

• Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, touchpoints, and furniture.

• Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.

• Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.

Specialist & Deep Cleaning:

• Carrying out periodic deep-cleaning tasks (e.g., carpet cleaning, polishing floors).

• Using appropriate cleaning materials for different surfaces to maintain standards and protect equipment.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

• Using cleaning equipment safely (e.g., buffers, steamers, vacuums), ensuring proper storage after use.

• Following health & safety regulations, including safe use of cleaning chemicals (COSHH).

• Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or damages promptly.

Teamwork & Independence:

• Working independently to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.

• Supporting colleagues as needed to ensure high overall cleanliness standards.
