Overview

Great opportunity to work as a Cleaner for our client - an industry-leading, customer-focused, long-distance train operator, that customers trust to meet their needs. Staffline is recruiting Cleaners in Manchester.

The rate of pay is £12.21 to £13.07 per hour. This role offers shifts from Wednesday to Saturday and the hours of work are:

2pm to 10pm - but requires flexibility as this can vary depending on train times.

Your Time at Work

Cleaning staff are to perform a range of cleaning duties, including but not limited to:

• General cleaning of trains, both in transit and turnaround
• Waste collection and disposal
• Floor cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing)
• Window and glass cleaning
• Disinfection of high-touch surfaces
• Replenishment of cleaning supplies (soap, hand towels, toilet paper)
• Deep cleaning tasks as required
• Any other cleaning duties as specified by the client

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will show you are reliable, have good attention to detail, be adaptable, and have a strong work ethic. You will have a strong understanding of train routes and be able to navigate real-time railway updates.

Applicants will be able to work under pressure and timed conditions.

A valid in-date DBS check is required.

Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
