Job summary

Compass Group UK&I’s ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services division is hiring a full-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams contracted to 37.5 hours per week. You will work alongside our teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers, performing dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and restocking supplies.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning roles is preferred but not essential.
• Flexible approach to working shifts.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensure surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required, including mopping spillages quickly.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.

We're currently recruiting a full time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our Ideal Cleaner Will

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
