Job summary

Compass Group UK&I urgently seeks a part-time Cleaner to join our Defence, Energy and Government Services cleaning and facilities teams. The role is contracted to 30 hours per week, with variable shifts across a 50.2 week per year schedule.

You will work to keep environments safe, hygienic and spotless for clients and customers. We value a flexible, hands-on individual who can adapt to changing shift patterns and contribute to a high standard of cleanliness across multiple sites in the Defence

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on approach to cleaning duties in a facilities environment.
• Cleaner with previous experience preferred but not essential.
• Flexible approach to shifts and working patterns.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Keep surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints sanitised regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as required, including mopping spills.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.

Job description

We're currently recruiting a part time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 30 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our Ideal Cleaner Will

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
