Job summary

Britsafe Limited in Leeds is seeking reliable cleaners to maintain an NHS building in the Leeds LS7 area. You will ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for staff and visitors.

We have two permanent, part-time shift patterns: 6 hours per week total at £13.33 per hour, with options for Weekday Mornings or Weekend Mornings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, waste disposal.
• Clean and sanitize touchpoints, offices, corridors and communal areas.
• Ensure cleaning meets NHS hygiene and safety standards.
• Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment (COSHH).
• Report maintenance issues or stock shortages to supervisor.

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and thorough Cleaners to join our team maintaining a vital NHS building in the Leeds LS7 area. In this role, you will ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for staff and visitors.

We have two permanent, part-time shift patterns available. Both options offer a total of 6 hours per week at an excellent hourly rate of £13.33.

Available Shift Patterns

Option 1: Weekday Mornings

• Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday




• Hours: 06:30 – 08:30 (2 hours per shift)




• Total: 6 hours per week

Option 2: Weekend Mornings

• Days: Saturday and Sunday




• Hours: 06:00 – 09:00 (3 hours per shift)




• Total: 6 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and emptying bins.




• Clean and sanitize touchpoints, offices, corridors, and communal facilities.




• Ensure all cleaning is completed to high NHS hygiene and safety standards.




• Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment (COSHH).




• Report any maintenance issues or stock shortages to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Strong reliability and excellent punctuality for early morning starts.




• A high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.




• Ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently.




• Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but full training will be provided.




• Successful candidates will be subject to standard NHS background checks.
