Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a reliable Cleaner for night shifts in the Huntingdon/Alconbury area. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment during night hours, with independent work and the ability to complete tasks to a high standard.

The position offers an ongoing contract with DAYS/NIGHTS shifts. Ideal candidates are detail‑oriented, physically capable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team when needed, reporting to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
• Good physical health and stamina for manual labour.
• Ability to work effectively within a team when required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, corridors, and stairwells.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, as well as clean windows, walls, and surfaces.
• Empty waste bins and ensure all trash is properly disposed of.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels as necessary.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are used in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
