Job summary

Mitie is seeking an evening cleaner to join our Stoke-on-Trent site. The role covers general office cleaning including kitchens and toilets, 16 hours per week, 6pm to 9pm on Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri, and 6pm to 10pm on Tue. Training and security clearance are required.

You will work as part of a friendly team, maintaining premises to meet SLAs while following health and safety guidelines and delivering good customer service to on-site staff.

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible approach to the role.

Evening cleaner required for general office cleaning duties including kitchens and toilets. This role is for 16 hours per week and is 6pm to 9pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Tuesday is 6pm to 10pm, start and finish times can not be changed. You will be working with a well established team of cleaners who work hard but have fun as well, in fact a great team of people to work with. This role is subject to security clearances before starting, as without this vetting which we carry out you, would not be allowed to work on site.In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
