Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence. Contracted to 32 hours per week, you will help to deliver the best experiences for clients and customers. Mon-Fri (Full Time Days) patterns apply, and a flexible, hands-on approach is valued across our sites.

We support 250+ UK military establishments and secure environments. The role suits someone with cleaning experience or a willingness to learn, who can work well in a team and maintain

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning roles preferred but not essential.
• Able to work across different sites with a flexible approach.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Sanitise surfaces, floors and touchpoints regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required and restock supplies.
• Assist with bin disposal and maintaining a safe environment.

We're currently recruiting a part time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 32 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. Here’s an idea of what your shift patterns will be: Mon-Fri (Full Time Days)

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
