Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our cleaning team at The Harleston Sancroft Academy, supporting us to deliver the very best outcomes for our community. The role of a cleaner is key to the successful operation of the school and can be a stepping stone into a career in education. We have seen cleaners progress to roles such as Midday Supervisors, Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants at Sancroft.

We are proud of our ethos and the positive relationships at our school. The Harleston Sancroft Academy is part of the St Benet’s Multi Academy Trust, an oversubscribed, inclusive and successful 3-16 Church of England school in South Norfolk where children thrive. The primary and secondary phases are located approximately half a mile apart; the role will include shifts in both phases.

Requirements

Salary: Pay Scale, B SCP2, £6,084 actual per annum (£24,413 FTE)

Contract: Fixed term until 19 December 2025

Hours: Part time, 10 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 6-8am, term time plus 4 weeks

Starting: October 2025
