A local educational institution in Harleston is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain high cleanliness standards. This part-time role requires reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to health and safety. You will work 10 hours per week, during term time, with opportunities to grow in the education sector. The position is fixed-term until December 2025 with a salary of £6,084 per annum.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our cleaning team at The Harleston Sancroft Academy, supporting us to deliver the very best outcomes for our community. The role of a cleaner is key to the successful operation of the school and can be a stepping stone into a career in education. We have seen cleaners progress to roles such as Midday Supervisors, Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants at Sancroft.

The Harleston Sancroft Academy is part of the St Benet’s Multi Academy Trust, an oversubscribed, inclusive and successful 3-16 Church of England school in South Norfolk where children thrive. The primary and secondary phases are located approximately half a mile apart; the role will include shifts in both phases.
Salary: Pay Scale, B SCP2, £6,084 actual per annum (£24,413 FTE)
Contract: Fixed term until 19 December 2025
Hours: Part time, 10 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 6-8am, term time plus 4 weeks
Starting: October 2025
