Job summary

Acorn Pubs’ The Crooked Billet in Ham is seeking a Pub Cleaner to maintain a welcoming and sparkling environment for customers. Responsibilities include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and toilet cleaning to uphold high hygiene standards at the pub.

The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented and experienced in cleaning, with flexible full- or part-time hours. The role offers pay up to £16 per hour including TRONC, plus benefits and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Attention to detail with high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work in a pub environment and handle shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize pub areas daily to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; dust surfaces; polish fixtures.
• Clean and restock toilets and washrooms; dispose of rubbish.
• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain stocked cleaning equipment.

About you...

You will be friendly, conscientious and take pride in achieving high standards.Ideally, we’d like you to have some previous experience, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, toilet cleaning and the use of a floor buffing machine.
