Overview

Job Title: Cleaner

Pay Rate: £14.63 per hour

Contract Type: Full Time

Type of Employment: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00am to 17:00pm (1 hour break unpaid)

Location: Greater Manchester, Unsworth and Bury, Greater Manchester, England, BL9 0RD

Responsibilities

• Manage a cleaning team for Mitie clients, including recruitment and development of staff.
• Maintain excellent service standards for routine planned and periodic cleaning.
• Ensure cleaning staff understand and work to task schedules; follow Health & Safety procedures; provide technical training as required.
• Distribute uniforms, monitor standard of cleanliness, and manage stock and materials.
• Resolve issues efficiently and professionally, escalating to the line manager when appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in cleaning with supervisory responsibilities.
• Good communication skills; reliable, hardworking, professional attitude.
• Ability to work to a schedule and on own initiative.

Eligibility Criteria

• All applicants subject to Government Vetting check.
• British citizen, Indefinite stay or EU Citizen (must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years).
• 3 years passport validity.
