Job summary

Mecca Bingo Glasgow is hiring a Cleaner to keep the venue spotless, safe and welcoming. You’ll maintain high cleaning standards, follow procedures around sessions, and help guests enjoy a comfortable environment.

No zero-hour contracts; real contracts with 8–35 hours per week. We provide uniforms, paid breaks, and benefits including pension, life assurance, sick pay, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or hospitality is helpful but not essential.
• Full training provided.
• Ability to work at pace and maintain timekeeping.
• Reliability and attention to detail are important.

Responsibilities

• Keep the venue spotless across front of house, back of house and restrooms.
• Reset areas quickly, manage walkways and fit tasks around sessions.
• Follow health & safety, COSHH, and hygiene procedures; report hazards.
• Work as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly.

As a Cleaner, you'll play a key role in making sure our venue looks great and feels comfortable for every guest. You'll maintain high cleaning standards, work efficiently around the venue, and follow clear procedures to keep everyone safe.

Your Impact

• Venue presentation: maintain high cleaning standards across front of house, back of house and restrooms, ensuring a great first impression.
• Service support: reset areas quickly, keep walkways clear, and ensure cleaning tasks fit smoothly around sessions and customer flow.
• Safety & compliance: follow health & safety, COSHH and hygiene procedures; report hazards and incidents promptly.
• One-team mindset: communicate clearly with colleagues and support where needed to keep operations running smoothly.
