Job summary

Amey is recruiting an on-site Cleaner for HMP Humber in Everthorpe (HU15 2JZ). The role offers 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start times from 6:00am to 7:00am as needed. Salary: £27,426 per year, with a permanent on-site contract.

You will provide cleaning services to meet contractual requirements, manage stock of consumables, operate machinery safely, and uphold high H&S and quality standards across the site, supporting carbon reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Providing a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements
• Controlling stock levels and ordering consumables
• Operating machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
• Ensuring a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times ensuring customer satisfaction
• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
• Ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.

By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly.
