Job description

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for both part time and full time Cleaning Operatives to join the Venue Presentation team at Oulton Park. You’ll be working alongside our Venue Presentation Team Leader, at some of the UK’s biggest motorsport events such as British Superbikes, British Touring Cars & GT World Challenge, as well as midweek track and experience days. All cleaning roles are on a casual contract basis with flexibility around hours offered, from two days a week up to five or six days. The ideal candidate will be practical, hardworking and take pride in their work.

Responsibilities

Daily duties will consist of (but are not limited to):

• Preparing and cleaning the site to an impeccable standard prior to event days
• Emptying all bins across site and ensuring general cleanliness across the whole site
• Hoovering the offices to ensure a clean working area for office staff
• Picking up litter after large event days
• Protecting the assets and property of the company
• Ensuring that all machinery is used in a safe manner and for the purpose for which it was intended
• Maintaining venue presentation to the highest standard as directed by the Venue Presentation Team Leader or the Track and Estates Manager
• Assisting in the duty rota covering weekend events and evening use of the venue as required
• Complying at all times with COSHH regulations, Noise at Work Regulations and MotorSport Vision Limited Safety, Health & Environmental Policy
• Undertaking activities unsupervised and delivering high standards
• Engaging with the team with a pleasant and polite demeanour and anticipating visitors' requirements
• Carrying out all aspects of the role with pride, maintaining high standards in all areas required

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or similar role; full training provided to successful candidates
• Full UK driving licence
