Job summary

Essential Employment is recruiting a part-time cleaner in Enfield to support the Integrated Community Equipment Service. You will ensure a clean, safe warehouse environment and help with recycling, decontamination and refurbishment of mobility aids and other equipment for safe re-use.

Duties include processing items in line with health, safety and infection control standards, with shift 830-430. All roles are subject to pre-employment checks.

Cleaner required to work 830-430

Cleaning staff play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES), which enables residents to live independently and safely at home.

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the effective recycling, decontamination, and refurbishment of community healthcare equipment—such as mobility aids, beds, hoists, and other assistive devices, so that these items can be safely reused by other service users.

The postholder is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment, ensuring that all equipment is processed in line with strict health, safety, and infection control standards.

This is a part time role on a temporary contract basis.
