Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting for a full-time cleaning operative to deep-clean factory areas and around machinery. You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts from early morning to afternoon.

About The Role:

Days of Working:Variable across the week -06:30am to 14:30pm or 12:00pm to 20:00pm or 20:00pm to 06:00am

Job Specification

The main purpose of the role is to clean high level areas, clean within enclosed spaces and other cleaning tasks within the factory area. The position is for deep cleaning using specialist equipment, working around very expensive machinery on the factory floor. The job holder will be responsible for deep cleaning areas around working machinery in the factory which will require good communication skills with their supervisor and ability to work at height in a demanding active environment.

You will be working Monday to Friday 06:30am to 14:30pm, 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.

Role responsibilities and duties:

• Ensure that areas are always cleaned to the highest standards.
• Ensureequipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
• Deal with anymanagement requests promptly and courteously.
• Always maintain Health and Safety standards.
• PPE to be worn at all times.

To succeed in the role, you will need:

• Ability to work quickly and to a tight schedule in a busy environment.
• Be punctual.
• To have a good attention to detail
• Able to multitask, be reliable andresponsible
• Ability to carry and move cleaning equipment.
• Be able to communicate effectively with management and H&S team to report any safety issues.
• Basic English level ( to be able to have a conversation and understand health and safety processes and procedures).
