Mitie is seeking a part-time Cleaner in East Kilbride to deliver reliable cleaning services on a 15-hour weekly contract. You will work within a team, follow schedules and training, and uphold Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.

You will maintain designated areas to the required standard, report any maintenance needs, and contribute to a safe and secure environment for staff and clients. The role emphasizes punctuality, initiative and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is preferred, but training can be provided.

Responsabilités

• Deliver routine planned and periodic cleaning to a Mitie customer.
• Follow cleaning schedules and meet SLA requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness of designated areas and equipment.
• Report maintenance needs and safeguard premises.
• Work collaboratively with the Cleaning Supervisor and team.
• Ensure security procedures and proper handling of materials.

Deliver excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting allSLAagreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.

• -Position: Cleaner
• -Hours: 15 hours a week

Main Duties

• -Undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role.
• -Work within a team and under their own initiative.
• -Adhere to allMitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
• -Maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness in line with the Contract and relevantSLAs, carrying out all daily weekly and periodic tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
• -Ensure that the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard.
• -Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is a safe working order.
• -Report any maintenance requirements identified during cleaning tasks.
• -Always maintain security - locking doors, following lost property procedures etc.
• -Have a full knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work specification and time allocated to facilities.
• -Have a full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used byMitie.
• -Set a good example in terms of dress, behaviour, punctuality, and attendance.
• -Ensure all Safeguarding Policies are always adhered to and raise any concerns in line with the Mitie policy.
• -Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• -Ensure contractors and external visitors comply with security and health and safety while on school premises.
• -Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
• -To undertake any other related duties which are within the job holder's capability, according to the needs of the business.
