Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Cleaning Operative to ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and safe, meeting all SLAs. You will train to deliver the cleaning role, work with a team and on your own initiative, and build positive relationships with customers while driving service excellence.

Role details include a Monday–Saturday schedule, 2 hours per day from 06:00 to 08:00, and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. An inclusive benefits package supports wellbeing and recognition programs.

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential.
• Flexible approach and team-oriented mindset.

Job description

In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role, also be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
