Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Cleaning Operative to keep equipment clean, well maintained and safe. You will work in a designated area, follow Health and Safety requirements, and complete training to deliver the role effectively.

You will be part of a team, contribute to delivering excellent customer service, and continually seek ways to improve and exceed expectations. Flexibility and reliability are essential attributes for this role with MITIE.

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

Job description

In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
