Job Title: Cleaner

Join us at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services as a Cleaner.

Details:

  • Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Type of Employment: Part Time
  • Hours: 8 hours per week
  • Shift: Weekend position - 4 hours Saturday (rate of 1.5) and 4 hours Sunday (rate of 2.0)
  • Location: Home Office, DoubleTree By Hilton Edinburgh Airport, 100 Eastfield Road, Ingliston, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH28 8LL

This position is based at Edinburgh Airport. Home Office clearance and an airside pass are required, which will be arranged through Mitie. Applicants must hold a valid driving license or passport.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order, meeting all SLAs.
  • Build knowledge of the cleaning area, work schedule, and chemicals used, following Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Complete all necessary training for the role.
  • Work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Provide excellent customer service and seek continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate and read basic English.
  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Flexible, honest, self-driven, reliable, and professional attitude.
