Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning duties across classrooms, corridors, nursery, dining areas, toilets and main hall.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and sanitise surfaces to a high standard.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and responsibly.
• Clean and disinfect touchpoints in line with health and safety regulations.
• Replenish cleaning products and consumables as needed (soap, toilet paper, towels).
• Report maintenance issues, damage or safety concerns to the appropriate person.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks within allocated time.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming and safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our friendly team in Church Stretton. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic environments for children and staff.

The role is based within a school working Monday to Friday from 3:15pm to 6:15pm, term time only, making it an ideal position for those seeking part-time hours that fit around other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily cleaning duties across designated areas, including classrooms, corridors, the nursery, dining areas, toilets, and the main hall.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitise all assigned areas to a high standard.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and responsibly.
• Clean and disinfect touchpoints, surfaces, and facilities in line with health and safety and hygiene regulations.
• Replenish cleaning products and consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels as required.
• Report any maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate person.
• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures efficiently while ensuring all tasks are completed within the allocated time.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for pupils, staff, and visitors at all times.

What we are looking for:
