Job summary

Compass Group PLC is hiring a part-time Cleaner to join our Defence, Government and Energy services teams, contracted to 25 hours per week. You will support our cleaning operations across Defence and related facilities, delivering safe, hygienic environments for clients and customers.

You will dust, sweep, mop, vacuum and sanitise surfaces to a high standard, restock supplies, and work flexibly as part of a hands-on team. Prior cleaning experience is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning environments is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work flexibly.
• Able to work as part of a hands-on team.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensuring surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Performing additional cleaning duties as required, such as mopping up spills quickly and efficiently.
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste.
• Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies.

We're currently recruiting a part time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 25 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. If you're a committed Cleaner looking for a role you'll shine in, we've got the position for you. Please note: This role is contracted to 50.2 weeks per year Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.
• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
