Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking reliable cleaners to work at a logistics site in Carlisle (CA1). You will clean warehouse offices, meeting rooms, canteens, kitchens, and welfare facilities, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and polishing floors.

You will follow health and safety procedures, handle waste, replenish consumables, report faults and support audits. The role is ongoing, 8:00–11:00, Monday to Friday, with opportunities to work as part of a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Basic understanding of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Clean warehouse offices, meeting rooms, canteens, kitchens, and welfare facilities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Clean toilets, washrooms, and replenish consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Clean windows, doors, desks, and other surfaces.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report faults.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Ensure cleaning chemicals are used and stored safely.
• Respond to spillages and urgent cleaning requirements.
• Support site audits by maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
