Job summary

Cross Keys Homes Limited is seeking a part-time cleaner for Lapwing Apartments in Peterborough. The role covers cleaning and maintaining all areas as per the cleaning schedule, including internal and external spaces, with a focus on safety and resident comfort.

Working 16 hours per week at an hourly rate of £13.45, the pattern is Monday–Thursday 9am–12pm and Friday 9am–1pm, with every fourth weekend off. Benefits include PPE, a DBS check, a pension scheme and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge and experience of cleaning.
• Ability to recognise and adhere to safety instructions and warnings on products and equipment.
• Understand responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act.
• Understand provisions of COSHH Regulation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas detailed on the cleaning schedule both internal and external, to prescribed standards.
• Operate a scheduled cleaning maintenance programme daily, weekly, monthly, annually.
• Report to the manager any damage to fittings, fabric of buildings or equipment.
• Advise the Manager of cleaning materials stock.
• Follow all health and safety requirements of the role.
• Ensure up-to-date knowledge of and adherence to Cross Keys Homes policies and procedures.
• Clean specified areas within customer’s homes including bathroom, toilets, kitchen, living room, bedrooms and hallways.

Description:

• Cleaning and maintaining all areas detailed on the cleaning schedule both internal and external, to the prescribed standards


• Operation of a scheduled cleaning maintenance programme, daily, weekly, monthly, annually


• Reporting to the manager damage to fittings, fabric of the buildings or equipment


• Advising the Manager of cleaning materials stock
