Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Cambridge is seeking a Cleaner to deliver high standards in line with SLA. This permanent role is 20 hours per week, with a shift pattern Monday to Friday 11:00am to 15:00pm, paying £15.21 per hour. Location: Cambridge CB1 2JW, UK.

Responsibilities include covering positions within the Cleaning Services Team, following health and safety procedures, and ensuring equipment is clean and safe, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• All applicants subject to Government Vetting check.
• British citizen, Indefinite stay or EU Citizen.
• Must have been residing in the UK for the past 5 years.
• 3 years passport validity.

Responsibilities

• Cover positions from other cleaners' operatives as needed.
• Work within the Cleaning Services Team, carrying out duties to contract requirements.
• Follow Health, Safety and Quality procedures.
• Ensure equipment is clean, well maintained and safe (e.g., PAT tests).
• Understand the designated cleaning area and time allocation.

• • Full UK Driving Licence required.
  • Must NOT be colour blind – driving within the sites demands full colour vision for safety and compliance

Role Responsibilities:

Have available to cover the positions form other cleaners' operatives.

Work within the Cleaning Services Team, carrying out duties effectively and efficiently in accordance with contractual requirements.

Follow the Company's Health, Safety and Quality procedures within the course of the role.

Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is a safe working order, i.e., PAT Tested, etc.

Understand the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work to be carried out and time allocated to the area.

Prepared to undergo training on all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used within the premises.

To comply with the requirements of Health & Safety, other relevant legislation and premises policies.
