Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting an experienced Cleaner for the long-term A417 Missing Link project in Gloucestershire. You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene across welfare facilities, replenish supplies, and uphold health and safety standards on site.

The role offers long-term continuity with a leading UK contractor. A valid CSCS card and own transport are essential due to site location, with PAYE pay at £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card is essential (training can be provided).
• Own transport required due to site location.
• Previous welfare cleaning or site-based cleaning experience preferred.
• Good understanding of hygiene standards and health & safety on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within all site welfare facilities.
• Clean and sanitise welfare units including offices, cabins, canteens, drying rooms, and toilet facilities.
• Ensure welfare areas are well-presented, stocked, and safe for all site personnel.
• Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, hand towels, and cleaning supplies.
• Carry out regular checks to ensure welfare facilities meet health & safety and hygiene standards.
• Safely dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures and environmental regulations.
• Keep access routes, welfare entrances, and communal areas clean and hazard-free.
• Report defects, damages, or maintenance issues within welfare facilities promptly.
• Support the site team in maintaining a clean, compliant welfare environment.
• Adhere to all site health & safety procedures at all times.

Cleaner - Long-Term Opportunity on Major A417 "Missing Link" Project

Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaner to join a major, long-term infrastructure project on the A417 "Missing Link" scheme in Gloucestershire.

This is a high-profile highways project delivering a new 3.5-mile dual carriageway connecting Gloucester and Cirencester, improving safety, reducing congestion, and enhancing regional connectivity.

Your Role as a Cleaner:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within all site welfare facilities
• Clean and sanitise welfare units including offices, cabins, canteens, drying rooms, and toilet facilities
• Ensure welfare areas are well-presented, stocked, and safe for all site personnel

What We're Looking For as a Cleaner:
