Salary:

FTE: GBP 23,656 per annum, Pro rata: GBP 8,844 per annum

Hours:

15 hours a week, Term time plus 4 weeks

About the School:

The High School is a member of the Education Trust, an expanding multi-academy trust with 11 primary and 9 secondary schools.

The Role:

We are seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic individual with high standards and effective communication skills to join as a Cleaner. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, corridors, and shared spaces, and promoting health and safety within the school.

Key Responsibilities:

Standards of Cleanliness:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in designated areas, including vacuuming, mopping, spot cleaning spillages, cleaning furniture, walls, doors, and windows, and replenishing supplies.

Health and Safety:

• Report hazards or defects promptly, adhere to COSHH requirements, operate cleaning machinery safely, and follow the Trust's Health and Safety Policy.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Clear and tactful communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team, willingness to accept responsibility, and good time management.
• Educated to GCSE level with effective communication and numeracy skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, processes, and associated health and safety risks.
