Mitie Group plc. in Barnsley is seeking a Cleaning Operative on a permanent zero-hours contract covering Cudworth, Grimethorpe and Thurnscoe Medical Centres. Morning shifts are early and variable, typically 05:00–08:00, with some sites until 10:00 if available.

Job description

This is a permanent zero hours contract covering Holidays and Sickness at Cudworth, Grimethorpe and Thurnscoe Medical Centres.

Ideal for someone who needs extra early morning hours alongside their permanent job. The morning times are variable but mainly between 05.00am to 08.00am with some sites working up till 10.00am if the successful applicant is available.

In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
