Job summary

Lidl in Ashington, England is seeking a part-time Cleaner to help maintain a tidy store and uphold high hygiene standards.

You’ll use cleaning equipment, manage waste, and support the team during busy periods. The role offers £13.45–£13.65 per hour, 20 hours per week, pro rata holiday entitlement, and benefits including a staff discount and pension scheme.

No prior experience required but an eager, hands-on attitude helps. Training is provided to ensure you and your store look and feel welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly maintain your store to keep it looking its very best.
• Keep trolley bays, car park, and outside spaces clean and tidy.
• Confidently operate industrial cleaning machinery.
• Clean the welfare area, including toilets, waste and recycling sections.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed.
• Proactively make sure that hygiene, Health and Safety standards are upheld.
