Job summary

Kenect Recruitment is seeking reliable General Cleaners for our retail store. You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Shifts include early mornings across the week with a total of 12 hours per week, plus a daytime slot; the role is temporary with pay at £12.71 per hour. Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the store, including floors, shelves, counters, and toilets
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures
• Clean glass surfaces such as windows, mirrors, and display cases
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report low stock levels
• Ensure cleaning equipment is used and stored safely
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
• Respond promptly to spillages or cleaning emergencies
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks as scheduled
