Job Title: Clean water Treatment - Principal Process Engineer

Location: Falmer - Hybrid Working (ideally 2 days a week in Falmer, open to 1 day every 2 weeks)

Are you ready to lead projects that shape the future of water management? We seek a dynamic Principal Engineer to drive innovation in infrastructure delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing risk assessments and safety strategies
  • Ensuring sustainable, environmentally friendly designs
  • Providing guidance on design calculations, specifications, and contracts
  • Managing project budgets and resolving technical issues
  • Driving continuous improvement and research of industry best practices
  • Collaborating with supply chains and mentoring junior engineers
  • Delivering projects within budget and on time, exceeding expectations
  • Aligning project outcomes with customer and regulatory standards

About You:

  • Qualifications: MEng/BEng/BSc or HNC in Engineering, Environmental, or related field; Chartered Engineer status is essential
  • Experience: Proven background in UK water projects, understanding engineering principles, commercial operations, and risk management
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and innovation management skills

Package:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37 hours/week
  • Hybrid working with 2 days in Falmer, or 1 day every 2 weeks
