Due to practice expansion, we seek to appoint a Clean Water Network Specialist to join our teams across the UK. We are looking for a strong collaborator capable of supporting teams and delivering remote projects as part of our national Practice.

The Individual:

The successful candidate should demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the water market sector, excellent technical skills, and a proven track record in business development, client management, project management, and line management. You will play a key role in delivering clean water network infrastructure projects and support the leadership and development of our clean water network capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree qualified with relevant professional certifications.
  • Experience in managing and supervising a team of clean water network engineers.
  • Proven ability to implement industry-leading and innovative solutions.
  • Skilled in building and calibrating network models for planning, operational, and design purposes.
  • Experience in managing Detailed Zonal Studies, Pressure Management, and DMA Design.
  • Providing technical leadership and strategic advice to clients for asset investment decisions.

Key Attributes:

  • Demonstrable technical achievements and high client satisfaction in the water industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Positive, approachable, and capable of building strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Flexible, able to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Full clean UK driving license.

Responsibilities:

The role involves responsibilities related to business performance, resilience, and technical reputation, contributing to our business strategy. Main responsibilities include:

  • Technical Duties: Lead project teams to deliver reliable outcomes, undertake Project Director roles, and support strategic multi-disciplinary projects. Promote internal best practices and staff development.
  • Business Duties: Foster team integration, ensure compliance with standards, develop client relationships, and support bid opportunities to grow revenue and manage risks.
