Job summary

Nuffield Health Barbican is seeking a Clean Team Member for our Barbican Support Office and Medical Centre in London. This part-time role (17.5 hours per week) runs Monday to Friday from 15:30 to 19:00, focusing on maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

You will use scrubbers, rotary machines and carpet cleaners, follow cleaning procedures, replenish consumables and report health and safety issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar cleaning role is preferred.
• Good communication and friendly manner.

• Clean and prepare a range of areas across the Barbican Support Office & Medical Centre.
• Care about our customers, patients, visitors and colleagues.

• Ensure cleaning processes are followed and that the location is clean, pleasant and safe for customers.
• Use equipment safely (scrubber dryers, rotary machines & carpet cleaners).
• Be responsible for tasks including offices, changing rooms, showers, waste removal and periodic deep cleaning.
• Replenish consumables and report maintenance or health and safety concerns.

You will use the latest cleaning equipment, products and this will be supported by a first‑class training programme. You have a friendly nature and good communication skills, which will come in handy when you’re interacting with colleagues and customers.

As a Clean Team Member, you will:

• Be responsible for a variety of tasks including office cleaning, meeting rooms, welfare facilities, washrooms, reception areas, treatment rooms, clinical and non-clinical spaces, pathology lab, waste removal and periodic deep cleaning
• Replenish consumables and report maintenance or health and safety concerns where appropriate.
