Job summary

Nuffield Health is hiring a part-time Clean Team Member in Cannock to maintain high standards of cleanliness in our Fitness & Wellbeing Club. The role supports customers by ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming spaces, using the latest cleaning equipment, and following structured training and supervision from a Team Leader.

The position is 20 hours per week with a pro rata salary of £26,707.20. Prior experience is helpful, and we offer a range of benefits including gym membership and health

Qualifications

• Friendly, proactive approach and good communication with colleagues and customers.
• Ability to organise workload and plan time with guidance from a Team Leader.
• Experience in a similar cleaning/cleaning operational role is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare a range of areas at the club.
• Care about our customers and keep spaces pleasant and safe.
• Take pride in your work and follow cleaning processes.
• Use equipment safely (scrubber dryers, rotary machines, carpet cleaners).
• Handle tasks from gym, changing rooms, showers and poolside cleaning, waste removal, and periodic deep cleaning.
• Support a positive customer experience through reliable cleaning routines.

As part of the Nuffield Clean Team at our gym, we'll expect you to organise your work and plan your time with assistance from a Team Leader to ensure that cleaning never gets in the way of a customer's experience. You will use the latest cleaning equipment, products and this will be supported by a first‑class training programme. You have a friendly nature and good communication skills, which will come in handy when you're interacting with colleagues and customers.

As a Clean Team Member, you will:

• Clean and prepare a range of areas at our club

• Experience in a similar role, you will be well organised and will ensure that cleaning processes are followed and that the location is clean, pleasant and safe for customers.
