Job Description:

Position: Classroom Welfare Assistant (CWA)

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure a tidy classroom and assist with daily setup and support for the class teacher.
  2. Provide 1:1 or small group support to children with additional needs, including SEN/SENCO support for conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and challenging behaviour.
  3. Create engaging and interactive activities tailored to individual student needs.
  4. Monitor student progress and provide feedback on learning outcomes.
  5. Support the social and academic development of children, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
  6. Maintain awareness of safeguarding policies and report concerns to the DLS.
