Full Time, Permanent


Duties:
  • Work closely with the Classroom Tutor to ensure the construction workshop environment is clean, organised, and compliant with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Provide technical and practical support to learners during lessons.
  • Set up practical demonstrations and activities alongside the Tutor.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to learners within the classroom.
  • Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are available and organised for training sessions.
  • Conduct daily inventory and safety checks on tools, ensuring all tools are stored securely.
  • Undertake routine maintenance and checks on tools and equipment, maintaining accurate records.
Criteria:
  • Hold a Level 2 qualification, at minimum, within a relevant Construction trade.
  • Must have occupational experience within Multi-Skilled Construction (e.g., Plastering, Painting & Decorating, Tiling, Carpentry).
  • Hold or be willing to work towards a recognised Teaching or Assessing qualification.
  • Hold GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
