Job summary

St Anne’s C of E Primary and Nursery in Bishop Auckland is seeking a part-time teacher to start 2 November 2026. The role covers two days per week: one day in Reception (Friday) and one day in Year 2 (Monday).

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner with EYFS and KS1 experience, with a clear knowledge of early years education, who can work within a key stage and whole-school team and contribute to the school community while supporting the Christian ethos.

St. Anne’s C of E Primary and Nursery is seeking to appoint a highly effective and reflective teacher practitioner to work for 2 days per week. One day in reception class (Friday) and one day in Year 2 (Monday).

Candidates should be highly motivated, with a desire to continually develop their own teaching to ensure that all pupils succeed in a caring and Christian environment.

Our school is pleasantly situated in the market town of Bishop Auckland. It is an average-size primary school with 210 children on roll and a 30-place nursery which is popular within the local community. Our classrooms are well resourced, enabling exciting and purposeful education to take place.

We require a teacher who:
