Job description

Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant, Complex ASD Are you a individual dedicated to supporting individuals with special education needs and disabilities (SEND)? Are you looking for a rewarding career, championing children with SEND? Axcis Education are looking for individuals experienced in supporting special education needs and disabilities. Classroom experience is not essential but a background of experience within other areas such as community support, care or personal life experience is essential. As a teaching assistant you will be working closely with children who require additional support to thrive. This could be on a 1:1 or small group basis or providing whole class support. Teaching assistants provide both basic academic support and support the social and emotional wellbeing of children in the classroom and around school. Axcis works with nursery and early years, primary, secondary and post 16 schools and so we can offer our candidates a range of roles to suit their skills. Teaching assistants usually work between 8:30am - 3:30pm. Axcis are keen to accept applications from anyone with the drive and passion for supporting children with special needs, applicants must have prior experience.
