• Support pupils within the classroom to access the curriculum.

Requirements for a Classroom Support Assistant:

• Previous experience in a classroom or child-support role is desirable.
• CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or relevant qualification (not mandatory but preferred).
• A degree in Education, Psychology or a similar field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting children.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
