Job summary

Randstad NV is assisting a specialist independent school in Lingfield to recruit a Classroom Support Assistant. You will help deliver engaging lessons and support learners with SEN in small groups and whole-class settings.

The school caters for primary and secondary students with SEMH and ASC, offering a positive environment and development opportunities. Start ASAP, term-time only, Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:00.

Qualifications

• Relevant SEN experience.
• Experience working with children and young adults (voluntary or paid).
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.

Responsibilities

This independent specialist school is currently seeking a Classroom support assistant to join their school team. Successful applicants would join a friendly team supporting learners on a small group and whole class basis. This school is both a primary and secondary provision catering for students with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), including those with Asperger's Syndrome and those with a diagnosis of ADHD.
