Job Title: Classroom Support Assistant Location: Tameside Daily Rate: Up to £104 Contract Type: Full-Time Start: Available Immediately Do you have a genuine passion for helping young people thrive in education? Whether you're a seasoned support staff member or just starting your journey into schools, we have exciting opportunities for you. Axcis Education is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Support Assistants to join our team in Oldham and Rochdale, working across both mainstream primary/secondary schools and specialist SEN settings. Role Overview In this role, you’ll work closely with teachers and pupils to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Your support may be 1:1 or in small groups, particularly with learners who have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties or other special educational needs. Key Duties - Supporting individual learning and emotional development - Assisting with day-to-day class activities and routines - Promoting positive behaviour and engagement - Collaborating with teaching staff to meet pupils’ needs - Helping create a safe and encouraging learning space What We’re Looking For - A supportive and nurturing approach to working with children - Keen interest or experience in supporting pupils with SEND - Flexibility to work across key stages and adapt to different settings - A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) - School experience is beneficial, but not essential – we offer training What’s On Offer - Competitive pay, up to £104 per day depending on experience - Full access to mainstream and SEN placements - Ongoing professional development and training options - Opportunities for long-term progression in education roles INDMAN
